CURRENT EXHIBITS AND FEATURES

The museum has a Racing Wing and a Sports Wing. The Racing Wing houses the Richie Evans car and two of Dave Packers speed boats, along with appropriate artifacts. The Sports Wing houses the other 50 exhibits of sports activities related to Rome. These 50 exhibits capture the thrill and the achievements of Rome's gifted athletes with pictures, trophies, uniforms and equipment depicting their days of glory. The inclusive descriptions on the 120 Inductee Plaques gives you a capsule review of the milestones in their sports careers and why they were inducted into The Rome Sports Hall of Fame.

Browsing in the 180 plus binders in the Sports Library is encouraged - along with viewing any of the many videos of Rome Sports Action. An outstanding collection of Sports Art featuring the nationally acclaimed athletes of Rome is on display both inside and outside of the Museum.

New additions were made to the following exhibits: Bowling, Rome Colonels, and Marty Patane (Power Lifting).
